Suranne Jones
Sarah Anne Jones (also known as Suranne Jones) is an English actor and producer. The Suranne Jones character is an actress and producer from England. Her fame was gained through her role as Ruth Slater, the detective in a crime procedural called 'Scott & Bailey in the series 'Scott & Bailey', along with Gemma Foster, the GP in a medical thriller 'Doctor Foster.' Jones was born from Chadderton in Greater Manchester, joined Oldham Theatre Workshop and earned her BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts. As a young girl, Jones began acting in a play called 'Wait till Dark. She was Gloria. She made her debut on screen in 1997 when she played an actor in an episode of "Coronation Street". Then, in 2000, she returned on the soap opera to play Karen McDonald. The years that followed her departure from ITV's soap opera she played various characters on TV shows including 'Vincent" as well as 'Strictly revealing" and Harley Street. In films such as Broken Hearts, A Christmas Star', a Christmas Star, and an Love and a Long Shot she played various role.
