A glittering professional's career can conceal some of the saddest stories. Winner of the USA and World champions in the hurdle event, Lolo Jones has reached her present standing through lots of effort and immense amount of patience. Jones, who was born into a homeless family and had five children living in poverty and hardship as a youngster, experienced an extremely challenging childhood. Jones's mother travelled frequently and even lived in the church basement. Jones was a nomad, which required her to attend different the schools she attended each year through the age of high school. At Theodore Roosevelt High School Jones was separated from her mother so that she could pursue her interest in the track and field events. Her family was split up in high school so she could be capable of focusing on her academics. Jones was a part of The Iowa School Orchestra as well the Gatorade Track and Field Award. In addition, she won the award at school. Jones, when she went to university, was among the of the most skilled hurdlers. She won the 100 meter hurdles in the 2002 NCAA Track & Field Championship. Jones also was a part of the second team to finish for the 100-meter relay. In 2003 and the year 2004, Jones placed first in the indoor hurdles race during the NCAA Championship. Career After completing her studies in 2005, Jones was able to begin training to pursue a track career. She was a winner in each of her events, the Torino Memorial and the Heusden Track races in this same year.

Brandt born in Cape Town South Africa with her siblings and parents relocated in Auckland New Zealand when she was a teenager. After being discovered by local casting directors, Brandt was cast in the role as Naevia in the Starz hits Spartacus: Blood and Sand as well as Spartacus: Gods of the Arena. She was one of the stars who made an impact on the show, collaborating with Steven S. D Knight & Sam Raimi. Mazikeen is a popular Vertigo/DC character from comics and the Vertigo/DC series Lucifer played her part in this acclaimed Netflix show. Forbes declared Lucifer as the most-repeated show in 2021. Brandt will be next seen alongside Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira in the limited edition of 6 episodes Walking Dead spin-off which airs in 2024. She is also starring opposite Jason Ritter Anthony Carrigan and Chris Meloni in the adult animated series Captain Fall which airs July 2023 on Netflix. Lesley Ann Brandt was a South Africa native born 2nd December 1981. She is an New Zealand actress with a large amount of talent. Lesley Brandt moved along with the entire family to Auckland New Zealand in 1999. In Auckland she was employed as a salesperson, and then become a manager of IT consultant. Lesley has performed in numerous commercials after doing a couple of modeling projects. In 2008, she finished her majors in acting and pursued further training in Meisner ways of studying. Lesley Brandt's very first recognizable acting role was on the TV drama Diplomatic Immunity, which aired in New Zealand. Lesley Brandt appeared in the New Zealand drama Shortland Street as a supporting visitor character. In the following season, she was in the science-fiction action thriller This Is Not My Life which is based on the anecdote of Waimoana. Lesley Brandt starred in the TV series Spartacus: Blood and Sand as Naevia, a hostage who later appeared in the Spartacus: Gods of the Arena miniseries.
